Submission Process

Authors are required to use the submission system powered by EDAS Services. Follow these steps to submit your manuscript:

Step 1. Access the Submission System: Click the submission link provided below.

Step 2. For Existing Users: Sign in using your EDAS account and proceed to step 4.

Step 3. For New Users:

  1. Click the "New User, Create a New Account" link.

  2. Fill in the registration form, agree to the terms, and click "I Agree and Registration" to create an account.

  3. You will be automatically redirected to your default user page.

Step 4. Submit Your Paper:

  1. After signing in, click "Submit paper".

  2. Complete the paper submission form and click "Submit".

  3. Navigate back to your paper list by clicking "My Papers".

  4. Select the title of your submitted paper to upload the manuscript or update the submission.

Submission Formatting Requirements

Manuscripts must be formatted using the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) template in PDF or Word format.

  • Templates are available in Word and LaTeX formats:

  • Submissions that do not adhere to formatting guidelines or exceed the page limits may not be reviewed.

  • Electronic submission is mandatory via the EDAS system.

Submission Tracks

SCF divides submissions into the following tracks:

Research Track:

  • Must present substantive, original contributions to related technologies, applications, or solutions.

  • Clearly cite related works, including proceedings from ICWS, SCC, CLOUD, BigData, METAVERSE, EDGE, ICIOT, ICCC, AIMS, ICBC, and associated journals (IJWSR, IJBPIM).

  • Maximum 15 pages in LNCS Proceedings style.

Application and Industry Track:

  • Similar to the Research Track but focused on practical applications and case studies.

  • Clearly cite related works, including proceedings from ICWS, SCC, CLOUD, BigData, METAVERSE, EDGE, ICIOT, ICCC, AIMS, ICBC, and associated journals (IJWSR, IJBPIM).

  • Maximum 15 pages in LNCS Proceedings style.

Short Paper Track:

  • Concise papers focused on emerging ideas, preliminary results, or smaller contributions.

  • Clearly cite related works, including proceedings from ICWS, SCC, CLOUD, BigData, METAVERSE, EDGE, ICIOT, ICCC, AIMS, ICBC, and associated journals (IJWSR, IJBPIM).

  • Maximum 8 pages in LNCS Proceedings style.

Note: All tracks allow an additional 2-page extension with a fee for each extra page.

Notification of Peer-Review Decision

After the peer-review process (4 weeks usually), you will receive a decision on the submission in one of the following categories:

  • Accepted

    • Papers meeting the standards of the conference will be accepted for publication and presentation.

  • Accepted with Conditions

    • You must make the necessary revisions as the reviewers' feedback before submitting the final version.

    • Papers that fail to meet the revision requirements may ultimately be rejected and excluded from the conference proceedings.

  • Rejected

    • Papers that do not meet the conference standards will not be included.

    • However, you may revise and resubmit the papers to other relevant tracks or collocated conferences within SCF, provided the new submission deadline has not passed.

Post-Review Actions for Accepted Papers

Authors whose papers are accepted or conditionally accepted must prepare the final camera-ready version in compliance with the registration guidelines
